HARMONIZING THREE LEVELS OF ELITE COMBAT

MIXED MARTIAL ART.

A tough and complete competition born from the need to seamlessly compare, integrate, and master distinct combative disciplines.

What is MMA?

MMA (mixed martial art) is a discipline born from the need to compare different disciplines and bring tough and complete competition to international circuits. Its technical validity lies explicitly in harmonizing combat on three levels: strikes delivered with arms and legs, standing combat, and ground combat.

The designated competition area is an octagon (though in some tournaments the ring is utilized) where athletes compete with the unique opportunity to use the containment net as a support and strategic tool. The duration of matches varies according to the exact level of the competitors—ranging from 4 minutes for a single round in easy matches to 5 minutes over three intense rounds for professionals.

3 DISTINCT COMBATIVE STYLES
Fighter Archetypes

Three Specialty Styles

MMA Striker

Striker Archetype

An athlete predisposed to work at a long distance utilizing both arms and legs. They remain highly careful not to get thrown, constantly looking to secure a clean knockout while standing.

MMA Fighter

Fighter Archetype

Exceptionally skilled in dodging and quick in closing gaps. Their strong point is projection, which, often carried out with violent impact, stuns the opponent and sets up leverage techniques and strangulations.

MMA Groundfighter

Groundfighter

Seeks to close the distance in every way possible. Supported by a massive ability to absorb blows and immense physical strength, they systematically ground the fight based on delivering violent ground strikes.

The Seishin Budo Advantage

Within this modern sporting circuit, the athletes of Seishin Budo perform exceptionally well due to the natural predisposition of their style to open competition across all three combat levels. For 30 years now, the Seishin Budo sporting discipline has successfully competed with this formula where athletes, in addition to the total combat test, use weapons competition as a technical complement.

Being both deeply martial and intensely sporty is the challenging task of the Seishin Budo practitioner, who remains constantly in pursuit of absolute technical perfection.
